LANDSCAPE PAINTINGS in ARCHIVES span 4 decades and include commissioned work and paintings in private collections.  Subjects range from travels to Europe and Mexico to local beaches and landmarks.  While my paintings are "stylized" and completed in my studio, they begin with a hands on, visceral knowledge of my subject.  I'm drawn to the natural world's beauty and often to the contrast of man made structures within a scene.  My photos and sketches are essential to the process.  As one client suggested, I paint from the heart.  It IS a joyful endeavor!
