The recent exhibition MORENO CONTEMPORARY LANDSCAPES: A RETROSPECTIVE at the beautiful new Aptos Branch of the Santa Cruz County Public Libraries had a wonderful home for three months! I was so pleased the response was outstanding! Many older paintings were included, but not all of my paintings from the eighties. Not included were several paintings inspired by travels to Europe. The group, EUROPE in the 1980s is now featured under the ARCHIVES section. For locals who may remember the Aptos High Jazz band tours with the incomparible Don Keller, a few of these paintings are reminders of the 1981 tour. My daughter Susan played alto sax in the band and I was a chaperone who traveled with them! I hope you enjoy the paintings!

My paintings are acrylics on canvas. I've had the good fortune to live by California's Monterey Bay for many years, a perfect environment for the creation of art. The subjects of my acrylic paintings are drawn from California coastal regions as well as from locations throughout the country and abroad where I've traveled. In my travels, a camera and sketch book are always by my side.

Under the ART section, paintings are grouped by subject i.e., California Coast, Western States & Italy. Original paintings are available for sale, as well as giclee & photo prints and greeting cards Other sections with drop down menus are ARCHIVES, EARLY ART & GRAPHIC ARTS. GRAPHIC ARTS includes whimsical designs from my days as a silk screened greeting card & wearable art designer.
